Doorpac also manufactures the Mantlet Door Series, which is the Solid Core Door range. A solid core door is a Non-Fire- Rated access door with an option of timber cores, finished with a range of external timber finishes and internal edge strips where a HMR (High Moisture Resistant) core is used. The inclusion of edge strips is no longer required when a traditional Blockwood Pine core is specified, but may be added as an extra should this aspect be specified.

Description

A Solid Core Door is a multi-purpose door suited to internal and external use in commercial, industrial and residential situations. Door thicknesses of 35mm, 40mm and 45mm are available when using the HMR Core, and a thickness of 40mm when using the Blockboard Pine Core. Available as single or double doors which may be ordered as a rebated pair or with a T-Bar Astragal Meeting Stile which is supplied loose (unfitted).

The Mantlet Solid Core Door comprises a solid core (either HMR Particle Board or Traditional Blockwood Pine) which is surrounded by timber rails when HMR Particle Board is used. No edge rails are required when Blockwood Pine is used as the core. The door finish options provide the desired look, while maintaining functionality, durability and security.

Hardware and Accessories

The Mantlet Door Series can accommodate any type of door hardware which is supplied loose (unfitted). Vision panel options are available which are fitted to the specified position, as well as a cut-out option should an air grille or automatic drop down door bottom seal be required.

The standard finishes options are MDF, External Ply, Duracoat, SPM Veneer and Tasmanian Oak Veneer. For Metal clad options to enhance security, durability and hygiene requirements, refer to the Metalshieldeâ„¢ and Germshieldeâ„¢ Door Range.
