Lorient LAS4002 Threshold Plate
Used where the door sill is uneven, this threshold plate creates a level sealing surface that greatly enhances the ability of door bottom seals to restrict the passage of sound, smoke, energy or weather.
Creates a flat sealing surface.
Enhances the performance of other sealing systems.
Slim-line geometry satisfies AS1428.1 access for people with disability requirements.
Durable hard wearing anodised finish.
Threshold Plates are generally Aluminium extrusions that are fitted to the sill under doors providing a clean delineation between adjacent floor surfaces.
A weather barrier in themselves, threshold plates provide an optimum sealing surface for door bottom seals. Being hard wearing, threshold plates offer an elevated sealing plane which, in the case of sweep seals, prevents contact or excessive resistance over carpeted, uneven or sloping floors.
Threshold Plates have been designed to withstand the day to day rigours of heavy pedestrian and wheeled traffic encountered in commercial buildings. The low profiles do not impede wheeled traffic nor do they present any tripping hazard to pedestrian traffic.
