Metal Clad Doors
Doors can be clad using a range of material such as Zincanneal, Zincalume, Galvabond and Colorbond sheeting. Material thickness can vary from .55mm to 2.0mm.
Metal clad doors are selected for a number of different reasons, but mainly for security or added protection against the elements. Metal clad doors are used in areas such as commercial access points, warehouses and factories, sub-stations and public buildings. They can also be used in food and meat preparation areas where health and hygiene requirements do not allow exposed timber door edging.Metal Cladding is done in a number of different configurations, including the methods shown below.
